Another successful BYCROSS case in Austria

Another successful BYCROSS case. 69 year-old patient with a history of lifestyle-limiting claudication of both legs for more than 6 months now. Pre-interventional imaging revealed short-segment bilateral SFA lesions.

The intervention from the 16th of April was performed by Professor Michael Gschwandtner, Professor Oliver Schlager and team at the AKH Wien (Division of Angiology, Medical University of Vienna): bilateral antegrade access and successful atherectomy with the 6F BYCROSS catheter followed by drug-eluting PTA of the target lesions of both sides. Very fast and efficient treatment of these short bit high-grade lesions.
