Revascularization device
The Dredger Revascularisation Device™ with its proprietary moving cell design, a unique dual stent-based technology, restores blood flow and dislodges clots from occluded blood vessels in the brain in patients suffering an acute ischaemic stroke (AlS) due to large vessel occlusion (LVO).
The Dredger™ Revascularization Device consists of a self-expandable thrombus catcher connected to a flexible, tapered push wire and an introducer sheath that is used to guide the device into the microcatheter. The stent retriever has a soft distal tip that looks like a small section of guidewire to protect the vessel wall from injury. The push wire is connected to the proximal end of the retriever. A platinum alloy wire and markers for fluoroscopic visualization are attached to the tip, body and proximal end of the retriever.
The revascularization device is an important tool in the treatment of various neurovascular diseases. It opens blocked blood vessels and restores blood flow to the affected area. However, conventional revascularization devices have several limitations, such as invasiveness, limited visibility and risk of embolism. To overcome these problems, a new generation of revascularization devices has been developed, featuring a non-invasive soft tip, a movable cell, full-length visibility and a protective umbrella basket design.
The Dredger™ Revascularization Device portfolio is designed to give you greater confidence during ischemic cerebral stroke procedures because of its excellent performances.
